Condolences – Dr. Anderson

Dr. Dwayne Anderson, a long-time partner of Radiology Associates, passed away at the age of 64 after a brief illness. Dr. Anderson was a well-respected radiologist, dedicated to the most advanced interventional treatments and highest quality patient care.

He graduated from Drexel University Medical School in 1990 and completed his residency at Tulane Medical Center, where he was selected as Chief Resident. He went on to complete an Interventional Radiology fellowship at Harvard University and a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Dr. Anderson was board-certified with the American College of Radiology for Interventional and Neuroradiology and held a certificate of proficiency in full-body MRI.

Dr. Anderson joined Radiology Associates in 2001 and served the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas as a physician, mentor, teacher, and friend for over twenty years. He was married to his loving wife, Dr. Cindy Boyer, for 33 years. Dr. Anderson is survived by his children, Alexandra Anderson and Zane Anderson. The loss of Dr. Anderson is deeply felt by Radiology Associates, his patients, and the medical community. His talent, wisdom, and compassion for patients will be greatly missed.
