“Radiology Associates mourns the loss of Dr. Bob McReynolds. During his long tenure with the group, he was a strong leader and a charismatic, hardworking partner. We appreciate his time with us,” said former Managing Partner, Dr. Robert “Rhad” Hayden.
Not only an integral part of the group, but Dr. McReynolds also inspired one of the current Radiology Associates’ members, Dr. E. Gay Winters, during her training.
“It is because of Dr. McReynolds, Dr. Puyau, and others practicing radiology at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in 1987, that I became a radiologist,” said Dr. Winters. “I did a rotation at OLOL as a senior medical student in Radiology and LOVED it!”
“They welcomed me and showed me a specialty I had no idea about. I believe Dr. McReynolds was the chief, so I spent a lot of time in the reading room with him. He was such a nice man,” said Dr. Winters.
Our condolences are extended to Dr. McReynolds’ family, his wife of 50 years, Betty C. McReynolds, his daughter, sons, and grandchildren.
