  • I enjoy the intellectual challenge of evaluating, diagnosing, and often treating a wide variety of disease processes. Interventional Radiology provides ample opportunities to perform hands-on procedures, thus enabling the practitioner to take a more active role in patient management and outcome.Uterine Fibroid Embolization has developed into an excellent alternative to hysterectomy in women with symptomatic uterine fibroids. UFE is less invasive, uses conscious sedation and involves significantly less post-procedure recovery. The vast majority of patients receive complete or near-complete symptom relief.

  • Imaging has become paramount in diagnosis in all medical fields, and the neurologic field is no exception. Newer and better CT and MR imaging techniques have led to improved detection and differentiation of stroke, tumors and a host of other neurologic disorders. This, in turn, impacts surgical planning, and can often spare patients from unnecessary invasive procedures. Exciting new imaging techniques will continue to be unveiled in neuroradiology, and I look forward to bringing these into the practice to continually improve patient care.
